Press report by Striscia la Notizia

On 27 May 2023, a report on Giovanni Mason and the opera Il Bacio was broadcast for the "Enigmarte" section of Striscia la Notizia.

Enigmarte is in Bellagio to see 'The kiss' by the artist Giovanni up close, a statue that represents two extremely synthesized figures embracing. According to the critic Luca Nannipieri, the sculpture celebrates the beauty of being together.

A gift to Cantù

On December 21, 2021, the sculptural work by Giovanni Mason "Love for Life" was installed in the center of the Pianella roundabout in Cantù, the nerve center of the city.

The sculpture was donated to the Municipality of Cantù by the artist: "It is the representation of non-violence and a hymn to life", a thought that is a common thread in many of Mason's works.

The work had already been exhibited for the first time in Cantù, in Villa Calvi; then in Milan for "Fuori EXPO 2015" outside Palazzo Lombardia, a work selected through the notice "Feeding The Future, now", promoted by the Regional Council to enhance the excellence of Lombardy.

It is therefore an element that returns to the city in a definitive and absolutely representative position, a point of union between Cantù and Como.
